Gina earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Gina has experience working in private practice and as an advocate for child victims of abuse. She connects well with children as young as 5 years old through the lifespan. Gina offers individual, family, and couples therapy. 

Gina has developed experience seeing clients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, family conflict, disabilities, trauma, military service, and autism. She specializes in supporting clients and their families to develop and hone skills for regulating emotions, resolving conflicts, and connecting better with others. She takes a neuro-affirming approach in her work and has a strong understanding of neurodiversity. Gina uses child-directed and narrative play therapy techniques in her work with children. She also offers parenting support for families looking to understand their child better and strengthen skills for how to support their unique needs. 

Gina uses a combination of systems-based, emotionally-focused, and trauma-informed therapies. She is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic approaches and customizes them to best fit the needs of the client and family. Gina takes a warm, collaborative, and empathic approach to sessions. She values building a strong and trusting therapy relationship with clients and families that facilitates exploring difficult topics and enables growth. She has special training in working with clients of diverse cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds.
